• What dimensions are required for a NYC Permit?

A: NYC Permits are required for trucks traveling in any of the 5 burrows(Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island). The minimum dimensions that require a permit are 8'-1" Wide, 13'-6" High, 55' Long, and 80,000lbs. If your truck meets or exceeds any of those dimensions you will require a NYC permit to travel.

• What dimensions require an escort?

A: Escorts are required when you meet or exceed any of the following dimensions. 10'-7"Wide, 13'-7"High, 65'Long, and 80001+lbs

• What dimensions require a route survey?

A: Route Surveys are required when you meet or exceed any of the following dimensions. 12'Wide, 14'High, 80'Long, and 120001lbs

• How far in advance do I need to place my order?

A: NYC DoT requires a minimum of 48hrs to process permit request. Processing times vary depending on State, Load type, Dimensions, or Weight. We advise our customers to keep a standard expectation of 48hrs to process all permits. Please call us at our main office 1 (631) 669-3742 to find out more.

• Where can I find the application?

A: Our application can be found HERE. Our application is a fill-able PDF file. For best accuracy we advise our clients to download it. fill in the required information and email it to us at rmrnsman@optonline.net Keeping all information digital prevents information being misinterpreted. If you are not able to email the application it can be faxed to 1 (631) 539-8934

• When will I be charged?

A: Clients will be invoiced once permits are issued.

• How do I pay for my permits and/or other services?

A: Clients should include a Credit Card on out application to streamline the process for us and our client. For other payment options or arrangements please call us at our main office which can be reached by calling 1 (631) 669-3742

• Do I need to provide my own routing?

A: Our experienced routing team will provide a route for all trips. We offer a section on our application for clients to provide a desired route. All routing is put through to our team for approval according to current City & State restrictions.

• How will i receive my permits?

A: Permits are sent via Email to the requesting client once they are issued. Our Escorts will have a copy of the permits and additionally will provide the driver with copies of the permits.
